Join Keep North Charleston Beautiful for a volunteer planting event during April to celebrate Earth Day. The volunteer event will be Wednesday, April 17 from 9am - 1pm in the Park Circle Butterfly Garden!
Volunteers are needed to help install more than 300 new plants in the Park Circle Butterfly Garden. These plants will help to support the pollinator population in the garden.
In addition to planting, we will be performing other beautification tasks in the garden, such as installing newspaper and cardboard as weed barrier and installing a fresh layer of pine straw.
KNCB staff will supply all of the tools and supplies needed. Volunteers may want to bring items such as hats, sunscreen, and bug spray. We will provide cold bottled water along with a water cooler to refill your reusable bottles.
If you need more information or would like to RSVP, please email kncbsc@gmail.com.
Thank you for helping to make North Charleston bloom with beauty!
