The resident in our building love live music! We had a band come at Christmas and they have asked me since when the next group is coming. I would love to have a regular monthly music gathering to help encourage the residents and give them something fun, easy, and enjoyable to do. Many of the residents are disabled and are unable to leave the building to participate in activities in the community, so this would be such a wonderful blessing for them!

Description
As a Service Coordinator, it is important that I help the residents stay active and independent. In order to do so, it is important for me to connect the residents with services and agencies in the community to help fit their needs. I try to schedule a variety of presentations and programs to visit our property to help keep the residents informed of what services are available to them and how to obtain them. The residents at St. Aloysius Apartments are very self sufficient and enjoy socializing. My goal is to make more contacts with the community and continue to bring in engaging and educational programs. It would be so wonderful to get each resident to participate in at least one program a month!
