Communications Intern, Alzheimer’s Association Long Island Chapter
The communications intern will assist the communications manager in planning and
promoting Alzheimer’s Association events through press releases, flier creation, mailings,
social media, online calendar entries, public service announcements and other outlets.

Desired skills:
Demonstrated proficiency in writing, editing and fact-checking. Familiarity with Gmail,
Windows for PC, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with InDesign and
Photoshop a plus. Experience with social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
and Snapchat.
