The Town of Erie Colorado is seeking an individual with a Historic Preservation background to advise the Erie Historical Preservation Advisory Board in matters dealing with the preservation of historic resources, development of grants, etc. The individual should be knowledgeable with the U.S. Secretary of the Interior's Standards with a background in History, Archeology, Architectural History or Architecture. The individual should have experience with and/or education in survey and identification of cultural resources, nomination and review of properties for listing on a local register, Colorado State Register of Historic Properties or National Register of Historic Places and design review of alteration proposals based on the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. Experience serving on or working with a local historic preservation commission is desired, however the individual will not have voting rights and will not be compensated for their services to the Town of Erie.
