We are seeking veterans to visit with our hospice veteran patients. Share experiences with each other, provide support, and help us honor them during military holidays/remembrances, etc. You can also help with pinning ceremonies. We are looking for Veterans as the camaraderie between Veterans has proven to be supportive for all involved.
You can visit close to home- free parking and mileage reimbursement. The time commitment is flexible as we respect and work with your schedule.
Training is provided. Background checks and TB tests are required (expenses covered). Visits are done with your own car or if the home is on the busline.
