Jumpstart is an early education non profit who is partnering with UC Berkeleys student organization Eggster to help with their annual event! This event is their 25th Annual Eggster Egghunt and Learning Festival held on UC Berkeleys campus. Volunteers will help set up, clean up and will also help facilitate a Jumpstart and/or Eggster booth or activity. There will be 3 different shifts
Shift 1 ( 12 PM - 2 PM): Managing Booths & Setting Up
Shift 2 (1:30 PM - 3:30 PM): Managing Booths
Shift 3 (3:30 PM - 5:30 PM): Managing Booths & Cleaning Up

Description
Jumpstart aims to close the gap in educational achievement between children from low-income communities and their wealthier peers, before that gap appears. In pursuit of this goal, Jumpstart recruits and trains college students, called Corps members, to help preschool-aged children in low-income neighborhoods develop the language, literacy, and social skills they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. Jumpstart inspires children to learn, young adults to teach and lead, families to become more involved in their children’s education, and communities to progress together.
