The Michigan Humane Society is developing a program to support pet owners who are temporarily unable to care for their pet due to hospitalization or illness/injury.

We are looking for volunteers in the Westland, MI area who are willing to open their homes to a pet in need while their owner recovers. The time commitment will vary depending on the owners' situation, but all animals will go through a medical and behavioral evaluation before being sent to a foster home.
