Haven Hospice is in need of Patient & Family Companion Volunteers.
Starke/Bradford County
Our Volunteers are vital members of the hospice team and they work closely with Haven’s staff to provide support for our patients and their families when needed for companionship and comfort.
Volunteers provide various services in care centers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or at the patients’ home. Volunteers are needed in all areas of the county, and this is a great way to serve in your neighborhood and help others.
If you have a desire to lend a helping hand in your community, volunteering may be just the right fit for you. At Haven, all volunteer opportunities are flexible and we will work around your schedule. Being a Haven volunteer is a true commitment, but we promise to work with you to provide you with a fulfilling volunteer experience!
All volunteers must pass a county criminal background and reference check, along with fingerprinting and a two-step TB test.
Ages 16 and up are welcome to volunteer.
