I've been associated with the Las Vegas Affiliated Support Group for Ostomates for almost 10 years now. I've lost members due to death, and other things and need to revitalize the group. I have been on the road traveling for the last 6 years due to my job which has made it difficult for me to get things done for this group. The older members have "done their time" so to speak and looking for people with energy and enthusiasm about supporting our communitys ostomates, care givers and family members.

Need help with advertising, social media, and ideas for how to get local ostomates interested and involved. Would like to also have an active Ostomy Closet for those less fortunate or are out of supplies prior to insurance being received, or visitors to our town who did not know how badly supplies can melt in the Las Vegas heat. We've had a lot of different reasons for calls for supplies.

If you have a heart to pay it forward to new ostomates, and help older ostomates, get involved with health fairs, and other community events. Contact me through my email: snvostomy@gmail.com.

We have 3 groups in town - Mountainview, Sunrise and St. Rose Siena.

Sincerely hoping for some help.
