Volunteer Opportunity:
Course flyering - 2020 Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle
Course flyering is part of the Community Outreach Program of the 2020 Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle event. The flyers provide notice of street closures and traffic restrictions on cars and vehicles along the 8K run course and adjoining streets. The course is divided into zones, led by zone captains. Each zone captain recruits dedicated volunteers who work in pairs to place flyers on the windshields of vehicles parked in their zone - all before sunrise!

Sunday, March 15th, 5 a.m. - 6:30 a.m.

IN THE LOBBY
Chicago, IL 60611
Check in with the front desk and meet in the building's lobby. Coffee and a light breakfast will be served starting at 4:30am. We will start flyering the River North and Loop areas starting at 5am sharp! Please dress for the weather.
Note: Zone A & B will meet at the above location.

Blessons for Women provides free mentorship, educational workshops and wellness clinics for all women, in addition to scholarships to disadvantaged, low-income women who are 25 years or older and who have had their higher education interrupted due to challenging life lessons such as; cancer, mental health conditions, physical or emotional abuse, sex trafficking or who are first generation female immigrants.

Our Values: We believe that: Women need to be treated with dignity, respect and honesty. Women deserve to be happy and healthy. Women should be empowered and self-sufficient. Women should explore and develop their spiritual side. Women deserve to learn and work together to develop their SOCIAL, SPIRITUAL and ECONOMIC POTENTIAL. Intercultural exchanges, break down stereotypes, expand horizons and raise consciousness. If you educate a Woman you educate a Family. Community is essential to personal growth and in fostering women as agents of change.
Regardless of background, study interests and skilled trade job requirements, there are Blessons Scholarship Awards available for women trying to re-enter or advance themselves in the job market by obtaining a higher education or new skill. We support women who are in need of financial support towards their continuing education and training in order to improve their economic status.
