Why volunteer at the Haven Hospice Attic ReSale Store?

Sales generated at the Attic Resale Stores directly support Haven patients and families who otherwise may not be able to afford hospice services. Haven Hospice Attic Stores also provide an affordable place to shop, a great place to donate, and a fun place to volunteer. The Attic Resale Stores depend on the generous support from donors, shoppers, and volunteers like YOU!

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers use their skills, hobbies, and talents to help others. Volunteers assist with a variety of activities - depending on their interests, availability, and individual capabilities. We are generally able to tailor duties to match your volunteer interests.

• Receive donations - have fun interacting with donors that provide precious items and is the core of our operations!
• Cashier - check out customers and provide excellent customer service. We have the BEST customers around and always have a great time.
• Processing - choose your department of specialty or receive an assignment. This may include sorting clothing, working with electrical household items, cleaning and arranging furniture, or working in many of the other areas you can imagine.
• General Housekeeping - are you a neat freak or major organizer? We can definitely use your skills!
• Stocking - if merchandising is your talent, then we can always use your help making our sales floor appealing for shoppers.
• Make Friends - be sure to stop, laugh, have a good time, and make some good friends along the way!

Are you looking for Community Service or Volunteer Hours for High School, Bright Futures, Corporate involvement, or Group activities? Haven has options for you! We will work with your schedule to ensure you have a positive experience while obtaining the volunteers hours you require.

Complete the online interest form or email Clay Dzioba at cwdzioba@beyourhaven.org. You may also complete an application at any of our locations. Volunteers are asked to complete a one-hour orientation during their volunteer experience.
