Our Team is making a difference. You can too!

Our team SCOCOS Inc. and Tone Hollywood, is supporting the American Diabetes Association because we want to make a difference. We want to lead. We want to inspire. We want to empower. We want a cure!

We are teaming up now to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes. We are committed to participate together and raise money through this inspirational event not just because over 30 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because so many of us personally know some of them, and want to do something about it.

By making a donation or joining our team, you will be helping the Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

When we bring together dedicated team members and generous donors, the power we have as a group far outweighs what any of us could do alone.

We are determined to reach our team goal, one person at a time. So let's make a difference together!

About SECOND CHANCE ORGANIZATION COMMUNITY OUTREACH SERVICE SCOCOS

Location:

507 NORTHLAKE DR, ANDERSON, SC 29625, US

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to engage residents and local businesses in an effort to bring real change to empower a happy and healthy community.

Description

My name is Alonzo Sims founder of Empower Vision Ministry and Second Chance Organization Community Outreach Service Inc. a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Public Charity. We focus on empowering the community through humanitarian acts while encouraging economic and personal growth. We service the community by offering student community service hours, court mandated community service hours and by hosting health initiative community events. We believe in a happy and healthy lifestyle so we support the American Diabetes Association by hosting community walks for the upstate. The walks are annually every June in Anderson and every November in Greenville. Second Chance Organization, along with the Hatten family established a endowment scholarship in memory of Porsha Renee Hatten. The scholarship will benefit a underprivileged Anderson County resident undergraduate student majoring in biology studies.
