Greetings!! Valuable Blessings, Inc is a major sponsor for a up and coming Theater Production called LaRay Productions..... LaRay Productions is a professional theatre company that is devoted to helping rising actors find their way into the entertainment world of acting. We are dedicated to engaging the actors and audiences in focusing on real life social events that plague our families, communities and our youth today. LaRay Productions vision and ultimate goal is to heal broken families and bring back togetherness in the home and within the communities. In September of 2018 as well as February of 2019 LaRay productions presented the Ties That Bind stage play and it sold out 2 shows in September and close to 3 shows in February. There has been a GREAT demand for the play to come to schools, churches and other states therefore we need to build our teams. We have the following internship opportunities available for those interested in this industry. 1. Production Assistant 2. Administrative Assistant 3. Assistant Stage Manager 4. Assistant Technical Director 5. Set Crew 6. Backstage Manager 7. Publicity Manager 8. Social Media specialist If you have someone in mind that would fit these roles please have them contact us. Mission Statement

The mission of Valuable Blessings, Inc. Nonprofit Organization is to intervene and counsel at-risk, off-track, economically disadvantaged youth populations with a variety of services, including mentoring, cultural awareness, cooking classes and academic enrichment. We seek to overcome what has become a major obstacle to organizations and social service agencies that provide services to these individuals by creating an organizational paradigm that eradicates the negative attitudes and low-self esteem that permeate the minds of so many of these at-risk youth.

Description

Valuable Blessings, Inc., a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Prince George's County, Maryland, has implemented a new grassroots cooking, tutorial and mentoring program targeted toward at-risk and underachieving youth in Capitol Heights and District Heights, Maryland. Valuable Blessings, Inc. is a faith-based community-based organization that is dedicated to working with other community-based organizations and educational institutions in an effort to improve the academic performance, cultural awareness and life skills of students throughout Prince George's County, Maryland.
