Sometimes a phone call can make all of the difference. Our team of nurses, chaplains, social workers, and volunteers regularly visit patients who are living in their own homes or in assisted living facilities. Yet sometimes a simple phone call can make all the difference. A call to check in and actively listen to stories or a new concern means a lot when its done on a regular, consistent basis. Maybe every morning...or every evening.
Do you enjoy older people? Our patients range in age from 65 to 108. Would you like to talk to one of them every week for a few minutes? We provide orientation and templates for calls and reporting back to the team. You provide an active, listening ear for those who just need to know someone cares, all the time.
The calls can be made from your own home, you do not need to come into our office except to complete the initial paperwork and training and become a member of our team. We welcome your sensitivity and ease of conversation on the phone.

Hospice regards dying as a normal process at life's end in which we can provide dignity and comfort for the patient and loved ones.
Description
Haven Hospice reaches it's goal of supporting the patient and their families through several various disciplines. Our doctors, nurses, CNA's, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and community educators make up our caring team of individuals who know how important hospice is to not only the patient, but to the entire family.
