The Cincinnati Interfaith Workers Center (CIWC) was established in March 2005 to mobilize, educate, and organize low wage and immigrant workers to achieve positive systemic change. The goal is to provide workers with the tools and support they need to transform their workplaces and communities as a whole.
The Cincinnati Interfaith Worker Center is searching for volunteers who can help us with book keeping and accounting activities for 2-5 hours each month. Key tasks include:
1) Entering invoices and expenses into QuickBooks
2) Entering revenue and donations into QuickBooks
2) Reconciling bank balances back to QuickBooks.
By volunteering with us, you will enable the board to better succeed in its task to provide proper financial oversight.
We'll be happy to train you! We have a board member and a volunteer bookkeeper who both have accounting backgrounds.
