Information and Referral is a core service provided to service members, veterans, and their families by the American Red Cross

Know the differences between veterans and retirees;

Providing referral service; directing veterans and their families to the correct local, state and national resources;

Assisting veterans with filing for benefits;

Develop the capacity to provide Information and Referral services to eligible clients;

Compile information about local, regional, state, and national resources that could assist Red Cross clients;

Apply the principles of the Information and Referral process to working with a client.
