A place for your time and talents are needed for hospice patients and their caregivers/families. Hospice Volunteers are important and essential to the hospice program and activities range from visiting patients in their homes, making calls to patients and caregivers, to providing/assisting in activities, reading to them, playing music or even working in the office.
Accoridng to the Corporation for National and Community Service, "volunteering provides not just social benefits, but individual helath benefits as well........"

Training and orientations are provided per volunteer role. These are scheduled around your schedule.

Description
Volunteers are a vital part of our program and their is plenty of different ways to help and serve with your volunteer time. Opportunities include but are not limited to: office administration, providing companionship/socialization to the terminally ill and their families and/or caregivers, birthday and floral programs. We also like to have Veterans visiting with other Veterans.
