All Volunteers will be able to help us raise funds for our Youth Camp for Girls, we are in need of your prompt assistance so that we can raise funds to prepare our girls for their future goals to become a scientist, information technology, engineer and profit in math as well as the media.

The Adorable Baby's Jump Start Corporation is a Non-Profit 501 c 3 that was founded in March 2000 in Palmdale, California. The non-profit is especially designed to provide enriched learning for children of all ages who are from (African-American, Hispanic, Asian and Caucasian) underprivileged and disadvantaged families. Parents and guardians who are often continuing their education or participating in on-the-job training are encouraged to participate in the ABJS learning experience of their children. The goal is success for our girls' educational futures.

Mission Statement

The mission goal of Adorable Baby’s "Jump Start" (ABJS) is to provide a unique caring learning environment for children ages 12 to 18 years old. In this enhanced experience, each child will be individually assessed and then supported in his intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth. As partners of ABJS, parents and guardians) are encouraged to participate in the development and education of the child. The ABJS focus of service is embracing the welfare and needs of these children in its effort to reduce poverty.

Description

The ABJS program is committed to preparing young children for real life experiences through active learning. The emphasis is to enhance the children’s mental, physical and emotional development that is appropriate for each age group in preparation for kindergarten. The program’s focus is on teaching the children communication skills and concepts such as recognizing colors and identifying shapes. With a special understanding of children’s behaviors, the teachers introduce the children to music, dancing, playing instruments, singing, listening, and sensory motor skills, among the many skills that are needed for the school classroom. To support the central curriculum, ABJS provides before-after school tutoring, parenting classes, parent intervention and resources and referrals for extra assistance.
