PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Assist Red Cross in delivering our mission by alleviating human suffering caused by disasters
The American Red Cross helps families in Lawrence county that have been victims of disaster. Assistance provided includes making sure that each family affected has shelter, food, clothing, personal items, and any necessary medications.
The Red Cross is looking for Disaster Action Team Members to join our team in Lawrence county. The team member is an on-call volunteer that serves as the responder for the Red Cross at a house fire or other small local disasters. Within this role you will provide compassionate service to those affected by disaster and represent the mission of the Red Cross in your community.
