Here to wet your appetite is an intro to each of the positions:
In-Library Shelving Volunteer (Regular hours/Regular Schedule)
This job has nothing to do with being that severe authority figure Madame Pince. We don't want Madam Pince of Harry Potter's library at Hogwarts; what we want is someone more like Harry himself. Fun and quirky!
Computer LAB Volunteer (Regular hours/Regular Schedule)As a volunteer in our Computer Lab your role will be crucial to the flight system and its crew. You will help oversee the flight deck (computer center). Update systems, input data and train when possible. You will be expected to follow the Prime Directive.
Special Events Volunteer (Once in awhile/Flexible)
Special Events Volunteers assist where needed on special event days (including, but not limited to Car Shows, Summer Reading Programs, Family Night Out and Grown Up Nights Out). This position is highly flexible, and volunteers may be asked to assist guests with their cool classic cars, the glittery fancy arts and crafts, or other duties as fit the Volunteer’s interests and abilities. Basically if you ever thought about joining the circus, but never had the opportunity, here it is in small doses!
*Libraries and classic cars both have classics, they support each other and are fun!
