Join our volunteer team for the 12th annual VEX Robotics World Championship, April 24-30, 2019 in Louisville, KY by attending one of our two-hour Volunteer Inspirational Workshops. Learn about the impact volunteers have on our students and the VEX Robotics World Championship, show your passion for the importance of STEM education, and inspire our future. This event is not possible without YOU!
Workshop Agenda:
- Opening greetings & presentation by REC Foundation Volunteer Coordinator
- Meet representatives of one of our sponsors, UPS, and learn how they have increased their volunteer base at this event from 50 to over 250 in four years
- Learn how volunteering connects with our mission to enhance student learning and involvement in STEM and competitive robotics
- View specific volunteer opportunities available to your organization
- Learn about this season's game challenges, see the robots in action and meet directly with a VEX Robotics team
