OneOC is proud to offer the EncoreOC Professionals Program throughout Orange County! As an EncoreOC Professional, you will connect with a local nonprofit in meaningful & purposeful service to help address unmet community needs. During the project program period, you will fulfill critical project-based assignments that will bolster the infrastructure of the nonprofit at which you are serving.
Nonprofit Background: The Pure Game's committed team delivers character education programs at underserved schools using a unique propriety experimental sports-based curriculum, enabling at-risk youth to display positive metric-based improvements in behavior.   • Term of Volunteer Service: 8-weeks project-based assignment between March through May 2019
  • Hours of Volunteer Service: 15 hours per week for 8 weeks (Virtual and Onsite)
  • Wage: N/A This is a volunteer opportunity.

Position: EncoreOC Professionals are highly-skilled volunteers who typically posses an advanced educational and professional background. Experiences applicants of all ages are encouraged to apply, and are welcome to send a resume and cover letter.
Major Responsibilities and Related Tasks: Branding & Story Design - As a newer nonprofit organization, Pure Game needs assistance to share its mission and theory of change, through engagement strategies marketed to the online community. The EncoreOC Professional would review, make recommendations and potentially execute approved changes. Ideally the new design plan, would not only enable Pure Game to clearly share their story with the community, but allow the viewer to get connected and ultimate become part of the Pure Game team.
Skills Desired:

  • Brand Strategy
  • "Story Telling" Experience Creative Design Experience
  • Website Experience (WordPress) preferred
