Special Olympics Southern California’s (SOSC) vision is to promote acceptance, inclusion, and well-being for people with intellectual disabilities through sports. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the graphic designer in producing print, and web projects
  • Assist in designing ads for various publications
  • Assist in designing programs for various Special Olympics Chapter events
  • File organization & Image Research
  • Graphic design prep work
  • Assist in brainstorming concepts for upcoming projects
  • Miscellaneous tasks as they arise or as specific interests develop

  • Orientation or Training
  • • This internship is most successful when completed January – July with opportunity to expand beyond those dates • 10-15 hours/week at Chapter Office – 1600 Forbes Way, Suite 200, Long Beach CA 90810
  • • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • High proficiency in Adobe creative suite, including Illustrator and Indesign • Solid understanding or web design standards, as well as pre-press and print production
