Wild Paws Midwest Animal Sanctuary is a grassroots organization. We purchased land in Western Wisconsin in 2018, and are focusing efforts to increase a volunteer base for on- and off-site duties. It's a great time to get involved to help build a brand new wild animal sanctuary that will provide forever homes to wild animals who are unable to live in the wild.
Purpose: Outreach & Engagement volunteers represent Wild Paws Midwest Animal Sanctuary and our mission. Duties may include set up and/or teardown of booth, interaction with the public, handing out educational materials and Wild Paws merchandise. Specific tasks assigned specific to event.

Mission Statement
To rescue and provide a safe habitat for wild animals using sustainable resources; to promote coexistence between humans and wildlife; and to educate the public about the preservation of wild animals and their ecosystems.
Description
Wild Paws seeks to rescue native wild animals that were kept as pets, used for entertainment or from non-reputable animal parks and attractions. We will also provide a safe haven for animals that were injured or orphaned in the wild and are unable to be released after rehabilitation. Our habitats will mimic nature to allow every animal to feel free. We educate the public about the natural history of native species with a focus on human-animal relationships and how we can coexist.
We are a start-up sanctuary, and purchased land in Spring 2018. Our focus now is fundraising and preparing for our first residents.
