ORGANIZATION: Abbey Hospice

  • 1 person is interested

Abbey Hospice is dedicated to providing the best care possible to all of our patients; especially our veterans! We are seeking veterans of the armed forces who are willing to visit with fellow veterans on hospice. Oftentimes, these patients have stories and experiences that have yet to be shared with friends or family, but a fellow veteran is the perfect audience! It is our pleasure to coordinate with you in order to provide additional support to patients who have served this country.

We are looking for caring individuals who are willing to visit with patients in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in patients' homes.

As a hospice volunteer you will make a difference in people's lives, while heightening you own sense of values and helping you focus on those things that matter most in life.

There is no set amount of time to volunteer. It's on your schedule, whenever you're available. Please consider donating as little as an hour a week to help someone in their time of need.
