Join Big Brothers Big Sisters as Defenders of Potential
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana provides children (ages 8 to 18) facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever - empowering youth to achieve their full potential, achieve greater confidence and educational success, and avoid risky behaviors. BBBSCI serves more than 1,300 children annually and currently, hundreds of kids are waiting for mentors in Hamilton, Johnson, and Marion Counties.
Volunteers must be 19+ years of age and be able to spend 4-6 hours a month with a child. While being a "Big" requires a 12-month commitment, it is a flexible, rewarding, and life changing volunteer experience.

We’re always looking for people eager to positively impact a child and improve their community at the same time. And, right now is no different. So, Start Something.
For a few hours, a couple times a month, you can give a Little the invaluable gift of your friendship. By simply changing their perspective of what the world can offer, you can literally start changing their lives. And sometimes it’s as simple as playing video games, going to a museum, or just hanging out together.
