The Fargo VA Health Care System is looking to add friendly, caring, and dependable volunteers to assist Veterans on our current Transport Team.

Responsibilities of a Transport Volunteer include the following:
Provide transport service for all wards and clinics by transporting wheelchair-bound patients and residents to and from diagnostic, therapeutic, and treatment areas within the hospital. Assist the laboratory by picking up lab specimens from units and delivering to the lab. Assist pharmacy and oncology by delivering chemo to the infusion center. Assist the prosthetics department by delivering prosthetic devices to various outpatient clinics located within the medical center.

The Fargo VA is currently in need of volunteers for the following shifts:
Mondays: 8am-12pm
Mondays: 12pm-4pm
Wednesdays: 8am-12pm
Wednesdays: 12pm-4pm
Thursdays: 12pm-4pm

*Back-up/on-call volunteers are also needed for this position. Shifts run from 8am-noon and from noon-4pm.
