"On-Call Driver" - CRC is looking for a team of Volunteers to be "On-Call Drivers" for our daily pick up of donated and Fresh Rescue Food. The Fresh Rescue program collects 12,000 tons of food from local grocery stores five days a week and delivers it to our Food and Nutrition Center to be distributed to families and individuals in need. Fresh Rescue runs 8 am- 12:30 pm M-F with an additional afternoon pick up at our Carlsbad Warehouse on Wednesdays and Fridays. Volunteer days and times are TBA based on staff availability.

Minimum qualifications include:
Available last minute
Ability to drive CRC’s 20" box truck
Ability to lift, carry and/or push 25 lbs. up to 100 lbs.
Valid CA driver’s license, and clean driving record

Will need to provide your driver’s license and have a live scan screening done.
Training will be provided and there will be a second person in the truck to assist loading and unloading.
