Mission Statement

Hope for Life serves impoverished youth through holistic care, providing stability in their lives and empowering them with resources and education needed to obtain a flourishing future for themselves and their community.

Description

Hope for Life is a grassroots nonprofit organization empowering children in Rwanda, East Africa to seek abundant lives. Started in 2009 by two American college students and a Rwandan community leader, the organization has since helped improve over 750 lives including seeing nearly 100 children escape homelessness.

The two main programs the organization runs includes a 24 / 7 holistic rehabilitation center for up to 30 children at a time as they transition out of homelessness. We also operate a preventative sponsorship program where children at risk of experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty are equipped to stay at home with family and in school.

The organization's core values include: holistic, empowerment, transparent, cultural awareness & respect, and faith inspired.
