We are seeking volunteers to tutor students, Middle school to High school for continued academic support. Spending your time will truly emphasize the importance of education, learning, and reinforce the spirit of inclusion that is the backbone of the organization. This is your opportunity to help non-native English-speaking citizens, at the IRC (International Rescue Committee), a worldwide organization whose main focus is inclusion of immigrants and refugees.

To Sign up as a Volunteer

  1. Go to www.jerseycares.org
  2. Click "LOGIN".
  3. Click on "Not a member? Register".
  4. Follow the steps to setup your account.
  5. Once your account is setup, visit our Volunteer Opportunities Calendar and select a project that interests you.
  6. Click SIGN UP located under the project description
  7. You will receive a confirmation message and project details via email.

Description

Jersey Cares works to meet community needs by making volunteering easy and meaningful. We provide flexible, structured, team-based opportunities for volunteers to impact a variety of nonprofit organizations and bring positive change to local communities. Jersey Cares works directly with local organizations to identify their needs, and trains volunteer leaders to manage projects that address those needs. Most projects are ongoing, and volunteers (other than the Project Coordinators) commit to only one day at a time. All of this enables you to volunteer whenever and however fits your interests and schedule, and yet always make a real difference. Simply choose "Volunteer" from the left menu to get started on your volunteering adventure!
