We are looking to expand our Board of Directors. The ideal board member will:
-Have previous board experience for a mature, highly functional board OR high level volunteer experience
-Support the Mission of Midlands Fatherhood Coalition
- Will be committed by being prepared for and attending board meetings and committee meeting
-Has a wide network and is willing to share with MFC
-Will make a significant personal gift
-Will be involved with fundraising
-Board Meetings and Committee Meetings are held monthly
-There are occasional opportunities outside of the meetings

Mission Statement
The mission of Midlands Fatherhood Coalition supports fathers so they can be engaged, responsible dads. Midlands Fatherhood Coalition strengthens families through fatherhood. Our program supports and teaches men to acknowledge their responsibility while providing trusted, missing links between fathers and beneficial professionals and resources.
Description
Through individual goal setting, the "One Man Plan", group sessions on topics such as parenting skills, healthy relationships, economic stability and men's health, as well as the Kuder Job Assessment, Job Readiness Bootcamp and employment assistance, MFC helps fathers improve themselves and prepare them to be better fathers to their children. Children with engaged fathers do better in school, are less likely to use drugs and generally make better choices in life.
