Becoming a Music & Memory volunteer is a way to give back to others through the gift of music.
We have volunteers that wear many different hats, and we have a place for you. You need only a compassionate heart for our patients.
We provide the music and tools needed to spend time with our patients - sharing the gift that awakens memories of special times in the lives of our patients.
The benefits of music to a person's well-being has been proven time and again. The transformations that can occur while listening to music are not only about the mind and spirit, there is also an impact on the body. The more positive the time that our dear patients have as they travel their final road, the better that journey will be. (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyZQf0p73QM)
"You matter because you are you, and you matter to the end of your life. We will do all we can not only to help you die peacefully, but also to live until you die."
