Are you musically gifted at leading worship services and seeking a positive way to give back? Ascend Hospice is seeking volunteers to help play music and musically lead weekly worship services at several area nursing homes. Each Thursday morning from 10:00-10:30, our hospice chaplains lead an interdenominational worship service at several area nursing homes and you could help lead the singing and worship. You will work closely with our volunteer department and staff chaplains to provide a positive and beneficial service to those who are unable to physically attend church like they used to. If you play guitar, piano/keyboard, or sing and can lead a small group in worship, then you have what it takes to be apart of our team!
Volunteer requirements include: must be at least 18 years of age; complete application paperwork; agree to a background/reference check; have reliable transportation; participate in volunteer orientation; and complete a TB test.
