Seeking artists and those who are creative for this "hands on" volunteer opportunity. Ascend Hospice is seeking individuals with a passion and gift for art and sculpting to assist with our hand casting program. We have begun casting hands of loved ones to create lasting memories for family and friends. A volunteer is needed to assist in creating the hand cast with the patient and family. Once the hands are cast, that's when an artist's touch is needed: sanding, cleaning, and finishing the hand cast. Family and patients have been moved to tears with the beauty and tangible way to create lasting memories with those they love. Consider joining our team today!
Patient Support Volunteers receive comprehensive training to prepare for visits, and ongoing support throughout the entire process. Must be 18+ to provide Patient Support. Must pass a background and TB screening.
