Want to learn about attachment and decreasing depression in moms?
We need you to volunteer!
What: A 10-week parenting group
Who: Moms ages 20 and up and their kids 0-6 years
Your Role: Direct 1-on-1 contact work with a child following the U of M curriculum, and experience completing process notes on dyad interactions.
Where: Starfish Family Services Location: 835 Mason St. Suite 310 Dearborn, MI
When: Every Tuesday for 10 weeks (January 28 -March 31, 2020) 12:00pm-4:00pm

Description
At Starfish Family Services, our goal is to invest in children and their families through our early childhood programs, continue that investment through our school-aged and adolescent programs and strengthen the family environment through our adult programs. Our intervention programs, which provide respite care, mental health counseling, and crisis management, are used with those families, where necessary, to protect the investment that is being made in their children. The overall goal is to create a nurturing, successful family environment where children have the skills later in life to become good parents and successful members of their communities.
