Brookdale Hospice Englewood is Looking for Patient Visitor Volunteers

Brookdale Hospice serves some amazing individuals in our Communities (buildings). These resident love our volunteers!

Our volunteers spend about an hour a week visiting with the residents. This time is spent listening to their stories and sharing yours! Some residents like to play games (scrabble, cards, etc) or color in an adult coloring book. When the weather is nice, the volunteers take them outside to the courtyard to visit. A lot of it is simply holding their hand! Many like to be read to or taken to an activity within the community (music, bingo, etc).

Consider that some of these residents have no one who visits with them outside of staff or volunteers.

The schedule is completely flexible. You volunteer when it is convenient for you. There is NO set schedule.

We do require fingerprints and urine drug screen but we pay for everything and I will make it as easy as possible for you.
