VOLUNTEER AT TOM TOM Help convene thousands of leaders shaping the future of cities and enable hundreds of free cultural programs that build our community.
Tom Tom Summit: Wednesday, April 10 - Friday, April 12, 2019.
- EVENT SET-UP & BREAKDOWN
Throughout the Festival, several large and smaller events will require volunteers to assist with set-up
and breakdown. Volunteers must be able to lift 20 lbs. - PANEL DISCUSSION VOLUNTEER
Volunteers will help greet speakers and guests, support transitions between panels, monitor attendance, and work with
moderators and venue managers to run Q&A’s as needed. - VENUE USHER
Ushers are needed for assisting with screenings and events at various venues throughout the Summit Week.
Volunteers will check badges, greet attendees and participating guests, assist with crowd control, and guide
attendees to their conference location. - VENUE & STAGE MANAGER
Venue and Party Managers run the day to day operations of each of our Summit venues and featured events,
including overseeing ushers, liaising with venue technical staff, greeting speakers, and acting as the
main on-site Tom Tom contact at each conference and events.
Tom Tom Festival: Friday, April 12 - Sunday, April 14, 2019.

Volunteers check guests ID and issue wristbands to those who are 21 or older. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. - BEVERAGE POURER
Pourers will serve our guests at any of the bars located in the Block Party of our Signature Events. - TOM TOM MERCH TENT VOLUNTEER
Merch Tent Volunteers will assist in sales of Tom Tom merchandise, drink tokens, as well as general guest information services.

Description
Tom Tom Foundation is 501c3 nonprofit organization that celebrates founding and connects the resources that leave lasting legacies of art and commerce in Charlottesville and beyond. It emerges as a week long event in the spring, Tom Tom Founders Festival, and a weekend long event in the fall, Tomtoberfest. Between Festivals, Tom Tom Foundation carries out its threefold mission through Tom Tom Founders Festival by hosting events that convience stakeholders, thought leaders and the public.
