DECA is an organization aimed at helping California high school students prepare for careers in marketing, management, entrepreneurship, finance and hospitality.
Before we know it California DECA students interested in careers in marketing, management, entrepreneurship, finance and hospitality will be competing at the Anaheim Marriott on March 1 st (Friday) and 2 nd (Saturday) to earn the opportunity to compete at the International Conference in Orlando this spring. These excellent students will be giving presentations and participating in business simulated role-plays to demonstrate the knowledge they are learning in the classroom.
These competitions aren’t possible without volunteers like you. California DECA is in need of over 300 volunteers to participate as judges in evaluating student presentations on March 1 st and 2 nd. Judging is simple and enjoyable and takes as little as a few hours of your time.
When: Friday March 1 st 8 am to 4 pm or Saturday March, 2 nd 8 am to Noon.
Where: Anaheim Marriott Hotel: 700 West Convention Way, Anaheim CA, 92802.
You can also choose to judge online only at your convenience. The online portion consists of evaluating research projects and business plans.
