Math Tutoring The aim of this program is to help promote a positive experience of learning mathematics and to develop a sound foundation of basic number understanding. Understanding that our children will vary greatly in individual abilities and challenges in comprehending math, we combined multiple approaches which utilize multi-sensory teaching, and aligned them with topics taught in the classroom, in hopes of providing a comprehensive and cohesive program. The program includes activities that apply the student’s learning experience from the classroom to the real world.Recommended for ages 3 and up.
Each child learns and develops math skills at a different pace. The GiGi's Math Tutoring program builds a foundation from the beginning in these main areas:
- Number Sense and Counting
- Addition and Subtraction
- Multiplication and Division
- Math in the Real World: Shapes, Fractions, Measurement, Time, Money, Data & Categories
