Field Trip Assistant needed on Tuesdays in March, April, May and June.

Assist elementary school students with pioneer arts and crafts activities during field trips to Job Carr Cabin Museum. Spring is our busiest field trip season and we need your help to provide a fun, interactive field trip experience for students in grades 2-5.

We'll provide information and training to help you engage children in hands-on activities and games, interpreting frontier life. Field trip activities may include designing quilts, making butter, hopscotch, gunny sack races, and more! No experience necessary.

We welcome volunteers of all ages, interests and skills levels. Volunteers with background in education, history and/or customer service are strongly encouraged to apply. You must be reliable, with excellent attendance, promptness and courteous behavior.

Field trips generally begin at 10:00am and end by 1:30pm. Volunteers assist with set-up and clean-up.

All volunteers must complete a volunteer application form and successfully pass a security background check. http://www.jobcarrmuseum.org/
