Medi Home Health & Hospice

Medi Home Health & Hospice is looking for volunteers ages 18+ to be companions to Hospice patients. The ideal volunteer would be able to devote 1 or 2 hours per week to provide companionship to patients. We have patients on our service that live in their own homes as well as assisted living facilities and long term care facilities.

In addition to receiving the satisfaction of providing companionship to patients nearing the end of their lives, volunteers receive the following benefits:

Pre-volunteer training, continuing education, free PPD screening, free Hepatitis B series vaccination, free blood pressure screenings, and volunteer support group meetings.

While there may be nothing we can do to change the QUANTITY of one's life, YOU can be part of the team that helps improve our patients' QUALITY of life. If this sounds like the volunteer job for you, contact us today.
