Want to help deliver socks to the homeless in Washington, DC.? We will be meeting in Washington, D.C. to deliver socks to the homeless. Please RSVP to deliver a bag of socks to the homeless! Further Details: Who: This event will be supporting the homeless by providing them with new, and/or gently used socks What: Delivering socks to the homeless Where: Washington, D.C. Specific location provided upon RSVP When: Please arrive on time at 3pm! How: Each ticket purchase will guarantee you a bag of socks to deliver to the homeless. Please bring your ticket to the event. Ticket Sales: Ticket sales will go towards purchasing socks for the homeless in Washington, DC and Northern, VA. They will also help to support the Barbera Foundation's mission of promoting positive change in our community by helping those less fortunate. Please keep the receipt of your ticket purchase for your records, as this is a tax deductible donation. (EIN of Barbera Foundation: 82-3720526). Barbera Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote positive change by inspiring others to engage in the community and help those less fortunate.
I n order to accomplish this mission, Barbera Foundation organizes a wide variety of events that unite people from all walks of life. From delivering care packages of food and supplies to the homeless and preparing Thanksgiving dinner for those less fortunate during the holiday season, to supporting underprivileged kids with books and school supplies, Barbera Foundation strives to improve the lives of those in need to make the community as a whole, a better place for everyone.
The success of the Barbera Foundation relies 100% on volunteer and donor contributions. As a result, we need YOUR help!
