Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc. (CBBB), is the administrator of BBB AUTO LINE (r), an out of court arbitration program which seeks to resolve new vehicle warranty disputes between customers and participating automobile manufacturers using attorneys as third-party neutrals. CBBB is recruiting volunteer arbitrators who are willing to hear cases in Springfield, MO.

The training is conducted by a series of conference calls and web-based training modules and includes readings and exercises prior to each class. The sessions will cover the lemon law, information specific to the BBB AUTO LINE program, and arbitration skills. These sessions will take no longer than 7 hours to complete. Candidates are required to pass an online written assessment which must be submitted before they can be certified.

There is no cost for the training or materials and training dates for 2019 are February 26 th, 28 th, March 5 th, and 7 th from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM CST.

Arbitrators receive a $100 honorarium per case and are expected to be available for three to four hearings per year.
