As a Dept. Assistant you will be assisting staff with a variety of light clerical work such as filing, creating folders and packets, alphabetizing, pulling patient files, and interact with patients. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in deepening their knowledge and experience in healthcare. You will help with the daily flow of this busy clinic, working closely with staff. No experience necessary. Shifts are once weekly, weekdays, 4-hour shifts.
You will assist in several different departments--pediatrics, family medicine (same bldg.), giving you an opportunity to get to know different staff and their departments.

More than 1,200 volunteers give over 100,000 hours of time a year helping to enhance the care of patients, their families and guests in our hospital and clinics.
