Indoor Food Distribution Volunteers needed!

Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry needs caring and committed individuals to assist with our Food Distribution Program.

**Monday Tuesday, & Thursday​8 am- 2:30 pm During this distribution, we need volunteers to work in the market, warehouse, and outside.

If you would like to volunteer but the times listed above will be a challenge let me know. In most circumstances, we can work out a solution that will allow us to work together.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and stock grocery shelves with canned & boxed groceries.
• Sort fresh produce, meat, and bread
• Give direction to our neighbors and help them with their selections.
• Loading neighbour's trunks with a shopping cart of groceries.
• Traffic control

Qualifications: Mobility and ability to lift at least 2-lbs repeatedly. This is needed to fill small grocery bags with food items.

Pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, and dependability.

Support: Training for this position will be provided. Also, the Programing team will be available for questions and assistance.
