Experienced in volunteering at large events? Excited about supporting community activities?
OACC is looking for amazing Event Volunteers who can help out at Chinatown Streetfest on August 24-25, 2019 (Sat-Sun).
Things to Do: - Assist visitors at arts & crafts tables
- Man tables and distribute info
- Help setup/breakdown booths
- Maintain cleanliness of space by clearing trash, etc.
- Post/take down signage
- Take photos
- Help staff as needed
Volunteer Requirements: - Be at least 16 years or older - Able to take initiative and work without direct supervision. - Be available for a minimum of 2 hours between 10am-5:30pm.
Preferred Abilities (not required): - Bilingual in English and Cantonese - Familiarity and/or interest in interacting with young children and seniors who may not speak English
