Volunteer with Camp Goodtimes!
Since 1985, Camp Goodtimes has been providing extraordinary camp experiences for kids with cancer and their families, in a medically supervised, safe and supportive environment.
Every year volunteers create an unforgettable camp experience for children and teens diagnosed with cancer and their families. At Camp Goodtimes we are proud to have a diverse volunteer community varied in age, experience and background.
We have many volunteer roles at camp. From working directly with campers to more behind the scenes, if you have enthusiasm, initiative, and are dedicated to creating a space for kids to be kids, there is a role for you!
About you;
- Have experience or are interested in working with children, youth and families.
- You enjoy working on a team and in the great outdoors.
- Are committed to making a difference in the lives of families affected by childhood cancer.
- Are available to volunteer for a 4-7 day session, overnight at Camp in either Maple Ridge or Shawnigan Lake, BC
Go to our website at www.CampGoodtimes.org to learn more about camp and the roles available for you!
Applications close March 31, 2023.

Mission Statement
The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. Read more: http://www.cancer.ca/en/about-us/our-mission/?region=on#ixzz3EN0Udl4x
Description
The Canadian Cancer Society was officially formed in 1938, but the seeds for the Society were planted back in 1929 when the Saskatchewan Medical Association formed the country’s first cancer committee.
Today, the Society is the largest national charitable funder of cancer research in Canada. The Society makes more impact, against more cancers, in more communities, than any other cancer charity in Canada.
With your help, we can change what it means to have cancer. In the future, we will be able to successfully treat it, better manage it or outright prevent it, so no Canadian has to fear this disease.
Help save the lives of those who mean the most to you by becoming a volunteer or a donor today.
