Would you like to share the gift of bike riding, physical activity, and the outdoors? Our upcoming kids bicycle programs need volunteers for just a few hours. We have flexible, easy, rewarding, outdoor opportunities to support a new rider, adjust a bike seat, or give out helmets. If you don’t ride, don’t worry! No special skills are needed! If you can be upbeat and positive, we need your help.
Our classes are led by certified instructors who teach kids the safe, easy, and effective 'balance first’ method of learning to ride a bicycle. Enthusiastic volunteers help keep kids moving and motivated as they gain confidence on two wheels. The kids bring their bikes, we bring a pedal wrench, and you bring the energy, optimism, and applause!
Tune up your volunteer experience this spring! This opportunity is great for seasoned or casual cyclists; if you don't know how to ride a bike but are interested in learning; or you care about kids, public health, or the environment.

Avenues in Motion offers a variety of programs for employers and employees, safety programs for bicyclists, pedestrians and teen drivers, and programs in environmental education and sustainability.
