Washington Autism Alliance and Advocacy has been invited to several resource fairs coming up this Spring, so we need volunteers to represent us at those events! These resource fairs are excellent ways for parents of children on the Autism Spectrum and Adult Autistics to connect with the resources (ABA clinics, Occupational therapists, Speech therapist, etc) in their communities.
In order to ensure that WAAA is connected to these resource fairs, we need volunteers to 'man a booth' at the event and socialize with the attendees. The volunteers would need to be personable, friendly, and available for a short training before the event. The resource fairs are generally in the evenings or weekend, so this would be a great opportunity for working professionals to volunteer.
Thank you!
