Do you enjoy talking on the phone? Then we have the job for you!

Heartland is seeking committed, caring, and organized volunteers to help our staff with weekly "tuck-in" calls to patients. Volunteers call to check in on patients and make sure they have everything they need for the weekend in terms of medication refills, supplies, etc.

This opportunity allows you to support the hospice team without direct face-to-face patient contact. We offer a casual and welcoming office environment and a wonderful opportunity to learn about hospice.

NO previous hospice experience is necessary!! We provide comprehensive training as well as ongoing education and support. Please note all volunteers must have a background check, and orientation all provided by our agency at no cost.

For more information contact volunteer coordinator, Ruth at 231-935-3089 or ruth.charlebois@heartlandhospice.com
